NFL stands for National Football League, and its a football tournament which happens periodically in the United State Of America.

Earlier NFL was known as American Professional Football Conference APFC, was founded in on 17th Of September 1920 in Canton, Ohio, U.S.A.

It consists of 32 teams, which includes team from American Football Conference (AFC) & National Football Conference (NFC).

Over the years the sports has grown to be one of the biggest sports in America.

And it generates a lot of revenue, from investors, Tv right & sponsors of the sports.

The sports has also given birth to a good number of great football players, the world can never forget any time soon.

10. REGGIE WHITE (DEFENSIVE END)

Born in the year 1961, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States is one of the most prolific and fearful defensive end in the NFL.

Reggie White played his college football in University of Tennessee.

And after that he played for about 15 season in NFL, from 1980s up to 1990s.

He has appeared in about 13 Pro Bowls and 12 All-Pro nods.

Also earning him self super bowl championship with Green Bay Packers.

During his time Riggie White won some personal awards which includes two defensive player of the year awards.

Because of the strength and speed which he has, NFL fans and his team mate addressed him as a monster in the field.

Sadly Reggie White died on 26th December 2004.

09. DEION LUWYNN SANDERS SR (CONERBACK)

Occupying the 9th position as one of the 10 unforgettable NFL players is a former conerback noe coach, by the name Deion Luwynn Sanders Sr.

Born August 9, 1967.

Before being a coach, he play for 14 season at Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins.

He also played 9 season as a  baseball outfielder in the MLB, where he played for New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds. 

During his career Deion Luwynn Sanders Sr made one world series appearance and also won 2 super bowl championship.

Which made him the only man to that, which is appear on World Series & Super Bowl Championship.

They called him a magician.

Because his performance on and off the pitch, where nothing but outstanding.

His team mate gave him the nick name Prime Time & Neon Deion, which a lot of people still addresses him with.

Sanders till date remains the only 2 people, who scored NFL touched in not 2 for 6 different ways.

08. DICK MARVIN BUTKUS – (LINEBACKER)

Coming on the eight spot, we have one one the most intimidating footballer of all time by name Richard Marvin Butkus.

Richard Marvin Butkus was born December 9, 1942.

Before he became a sports commentator and analysts Richard Marvin Butkus used to play for Chicago Bears.

Where he played & season in his NFL career 1965 too 1973.

He got invitation to Pro Bowls, during his time at Chicago Bears

It also earned him to be be among, All Pro Six For The First Team.

His peers and colleagues voted him as NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year for two seasons.

07. JOHNNY UNITAS – (QUARTERBACK)

Johnny Unitas popularly known as The Golden Arm occupies the number 7 spot as 10 Unforgettable NFL Players Of All Time.

Born on May 7th, 1933 is one of the best Quarterback ever seen in the NFL.

Johnny Unitas played for 18 season in the NFL from 1956 too 1973 at Baltimore Colts.

During his time, Johnny Unitas was NFL’s MVP in the year 1957, 1959 and also 1964.

In the year 1979, Johnny Unitas was entered into Pro Football Hall Fame.

After having such an outstanding pro football career

NFL in the year 1987, started awarding senior quarterback of the current year in college football with Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

This is to motivate the young upcoming players and ensure the Johnny Unitas legacy moves on.

He died on September 11th, 2002.

06. WALTER PAYTON – (RUNNING BACK)

Coming on the number 6th position as 10 Unforgettable NFL Players Of All Time, is the prolific speedster named Walter Payton but also known as “Sweetness”

Walter Payton was born July 25, 1954.

During his playing time in the NFL he played for Chicago Bears from 1975 season too 1987 season.

He was invited to the Pro Bowl Nine Times.

And at a time he was holding the record for yards from scrimmage, all purpose yard, carries and so many other categories available.

Walter Payton during his career has eight touch down passes.

And in the year 1993 he his induction into Pro Football Hall Of Fame, same year with Mississippi Sports Hall Of Fame.

During NFL 75th Anniversary in 1994 he was among the all time team.

Same in the year 2019,when NFL celebrated 100 years of existence.

Sadly at age of 45 on November 1st, 1999 he died if liver disease.

05. LAWRENCE JULIUS TAYLOR (LINEBACKER)

Lawrence Julius Taylor who was a linebacker during his time at NFL comes in as the 5th Unforgettable NFL Players Of All Time

Born 4th February, 1959 in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Popular known with his nickname “L.T” he played as an outside linebacker for New York Giants in the starting from 1982 too 1993 season.

He played his college football at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Lawrence Taylor was invited for the Pro Bowls 10 times, and has 2 super bowl championship to his name.

During his time Lawrence Taylor, was a very talented player which made arguably one of the greatest defensive linebacker of all time.

04. JOSEPH CLIFFORD MONTANA JR(QUARTERBACK)

Coming on the 4th position of Top 10 Unforgettable NFL Players Of All Time is Joseph Clifford Montana Jr.

Also known as “Joe Cool” & “Come Back Kid” which was a name given to him after he helped his team to a 32 fourth comeback.

Which shows how talented he was as an NFL Player.

He was born on June 11, 1956.

Joe Montana had 16 season in the NFL and he spent those season at San Francisco 49ers & at Kansas City Chiefs.

He is one of the NFL players who won the national championship with Notre Dome.

Which after his career as an NFL player started after he joined San Francisco in the year 1979.

In his 14 season at the team, he was able to win 4 Super Bowl.

Including 3 times super bowl most valuable player.

Making him the only NFL player to have achieve sucb fit.

He has Super Bowl career record of most passes, without interception from any body.

Joseph Clifford Montana Jr also has the passer rating of 127.8.

After a successful career at San Francisco, he moved to Kansas city Chiefs in 1993.

Where he spent 2 more season and helped them win AFC championship game in 1994, for the first time.

In the year 1999 his name was put into the “NFL Football 100 Greatest Player”.

And a year later, he got his induction into Pro Football Hall Of Fame that was in the year 2000.

03. JAMES NATHANIEL JIM BROWN (FULL BACK)

James Nathaniel Brown also known as Jim Brown makes is the 3rd on the list of Top 10 most Unforgettable NFL All Time Players.

Born February 17, 1936 in St. Simons Island, Georgia

During his time in the NFL, he was well known to be prolific full back who player for Cleveland Browns.

Through 1957 too 1965 season.

In the hear 1964 helped the Cleveland Brown win the National Championship.

And during his time in league, He got invitation for Pro Bowl through out his career in NFL.

He has also be named AP NFL most valuable players 3 times.

Eight of his nine season in the league, he led the league in rushing yard.

Jim Brown was a very talented and determined player that before his retirement, he has already broken most rushing records.

From his retirement from professional football, he jumped in movie acting and juggled it with being a sport analyst.

02. JERRY LEE RICE (WIDE RECEIVER)

The number 2 spot of Top 10 Unforgettable NFL All Times Players is occupied by highly rated Wide Receiver Jerry Lee Rice.

He was born on October 13, 1962 in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

He spent 20 spectacular season in the NFL, where he played for San Francisco 49ers & Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, and Denver Broncos.

During the span of his career he won 3 Championship with San Francisco.

He has 13 Pro Bowl Appearances to his name, 10 first team All-Pro Honors.

Over his 20 season he played in NFL, he played 303 games.

And only missed 17 season games.

14 of the number was in the year 1997.

He was named the most Prolific Wide Receiver in NFL history by Pro Football Hall Of Fame Website.

The sport news in the year 1999 listed Jerry Lee Rice as the the 2nd “Football 100 Greatest Player.

Just behind Jim Brown.

He retired in the year 2010, with his number 10 jersey.

And same year he was inducted into Hall Of Fame.

And that was his first year of eligibility.

Coming as the number 1 Unforgettable NFL Players Of All Time is the ever young and hard working Quarter Back Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr also known as Tom Brandy.

Born on August 3rd, 1997 in San Mateo, California.

He his regarded greatly as one of the greatest players to ever play in the NFL.

During his career he has achieved a total of Lombardi trophy 7 times.

Which has also earned him 4 Super Bowl MVP Awards.

And he has broken a lot of NFL records and has lots of other personal awards to his name.

He had already 6 Super Bowl championship to his name, and in the year 2021 he added a 7th.

With Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he was 43 years old.

And this 2022 season Tampa Bay are returning to the same wining ways with Tom Brandy.

If they win it this season Championship, Tom Brandy will have 8th Super Bowl championship to his name at an age 44 when most sports men are already retired.

On the first 1st of February 2022, Tom Brandy broke the news that broke the hearts of NFL fans and lovers.

As he made statement saying he was retiring;

“I have always believed the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition – if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed.”

He also stated that

“This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore.”

Why his fans where still heart broken that their favorite playing was retiring.

On the 13th of March he made a statement, saying he was coming out of retirement.

The statement goes;

“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG”

Tom Brandy is definitely the best they have, and there is no doubt after his final retirement.

He would be called into the Hall Of Fame.
